Yes. Social media is fun (sometimes), but it’s also vital for your business. (Spoiler alert: You probably already know this because you’re reading this post on my social media profile). But now that we’ve covered what you DO know, here are a few tips you may NOT already know when it comes to optimizing your social media marketing... You need to be posting at the right time. Now, this looks different for everyone, but thankfully most scheduling platforms provide some guidan...ce on this. You should also take into account when you (or a member of your team) can actively engage with those replying to and interacting with your posts. Give lots of credit and props to others! Be generous with tagging other businesses and clients on social media. This is fantastic for relationship building, and what you give will eventually come back to you! Also, if you share someone else’s image, credit them. This hopefully goes without saying, but always proofread your posts.The occasional misspelling or grammatical error is bound to happen, but consistently posting poorly written content really reflects badly on your business. While I’m a huge proponent of repurposing content, don’t assume the same content works on all platforms. You may need to create different content for different social media platforms depending on what you are posting and how relevant it is to the format and your audience on each platform.
