Let’s talk about bathroom remodeling. As for every investment you make on your home, the first rule is: BE SMART ABOUT IT! ... So... where should you splurge and where should you save. 1- FLOORS: SAVE Using durable materials as porcelain tiles will cost you less in money and maintenance than a stone floor 2-SINKS: SAVE so many models out there you can definitely find something nice without spending too much $$ 3-FIXTURES: SPLURGE I’m all about durability and functionality; you don’t want to be cheap when comes to faucets and shower heads 4-TUB: SAVE a state of the art tub won’t add much value to a bathroom/house, but be MINDFUL. I prefer fiberglass to porcelain as maintains the water temperature much better... And I cannot stretch this enough: hire a GOOD DESIGNER.
