Ben Lomond in 1927, when 2274 was still an empty lot.

In 1928, ten years before the cottage was built, this was the view downhill on Ben Lomond towards the empty lot that would be its future site. The Los Feliz hills in the background are a good bit more developed now as well!

With it's official construction date in 1938, the Robert Byrd Cottage on Ben Lomond has reached its milestone 75th anniversary. Some cake and champagne are in order!
