Finding time to make art just because is a great stress reliever. Finding the time to make it happen(especially during the holidays or packed work week), is a stress inducer. That’s where the @everytuesday tutorials from Teela come in handy. I can do them while the kiddos nap #nannylife or when I’m having trouble sleeping but can’t actually get up to work(my machines are noisy and the household doesn’t need a 2am wake up call... again ). Plus- you get to learn new skills, ...it’s a win-win! This tutorial taught us how to make a steaming cup of your favorite hot beverage. I just realized I never posted the final piece for this Calligraphy project! A year later and I'm still getting used to posting consistently on two Instagrams. When I'm active on one, the other gets neglected. You'd think being active on a planner account would mean I have my ish together... Nope. Oh well, there's always 2020. This was such a thoughtful First Anniversary gift idea!... I used the artwork from their wedding invitation as inspiration for the watercolor background piece and it went through a few revisions (swipe to the last photo for one of them) I'm very grateful to have an artistic girlfriend and brother who helped me work out the details.
