Amador Flower Farm & Nursery

In 1996 Ron and Sande, two of our favorite customers, flew in on their private plane from Southern California for a weekend getaway. Their friend Cindy recommended they visit Amador Flower Farm, and they have been loyal customers since. Ron says they think of us often as they’re flying above the valley because no matter where you live, you will never find the selection that Amador Flower Farm has to offer. I have looked all over Southern California and all I find is a tall ...yellow or reddish daylily. Recently, Ron wanted to add compact daylilies to his garden but couldn’t find them in nurseries in Southern California, so he and Sande flew up to shop at the farm. We had exactly what they were looking for. When they returned to the airport Ron had to ask permission to take the car onto the ramp to load the potted daylilies onto his plane. As you can imagine, he got some interesting looks from the airport crew. Ron followed up in an email: We had a wonderful weekend relaxing, and I finally have my beautiful daylilies. We received a new shipment of deer resistant plants, including some lovely grasses, hardy geraniums, and penstemon. Two favorites for our climate: Chrysocephalum ‘Desert Flame’ and Euphorbia ‘Ascot Rainbow’.
