After Turkey Day, we have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and then (most importantly) Giving Tuesday where individuals donate to non-profits all over the world. We're asking for your support. Like many other businesses, this year has been financially challenging for our humble non-profit. Every contribution helps us continue to provide access to ‘integrative health care for under-served populations of San Diego. This year for #GivingTuesday, a generous do...nor has committed to $10,000 in matching contributions by the end of the year! This means that your $25 donation is worth $50 to us! Of all the local music venues, none have been a greater supporter over the last 10 years of our non-profit than Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center. Whether we're co-presenting events, sponsoring bar proceeds, hosting our seasonal fundraisers, or just checking out a show, Alma and Queen Bee's has been there for us. We are working with a research lab that is desperate for PCR positive blood to collect antibodies in order to manufacture more accurate tests. **Consider donating blood**... Stipends available from the lab. The lab may even send a phlebotomist to your home (NATIONWIDE) to collect blood samples with documented positive PCR test results. RESEARCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TODAY IN San Diego: One of the labs we are working with has an immediate need for volunteers to get a nasal swab PCR test for COVID-19 at our La Mesa office. Limited time, today only (Possibly extended to tomorrow or Monday, but no confirmation yet.) Prefer anyone who is CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS, but open to all who have had them in the past as well. (Test is only going to pick up active virus) $20 stipend offered and no cost for the test.
