Fabulous family visiting Oakland from Minnesota needs an awesome #nanny to cover Labor Day weekend. They have two girls (4&1) and are looking for an energetic, engaging nanny that’s available Friday the 1st 1pm - 6pm, Saturday the 2nd 7:30 am to 6pm and Sunday 7:30 until 5/6 ish and 8 until midnight. Your duties would solely be taking care of him (no cleaning, family assisting duties etc.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-5. This schedule is flexible if someone could only do Tu/Th afternoons (about 12-4/5). Your days would consist of heading to the park, going on walks outside, and being extremely engaging with him. The nanny will have lots of experience with infants, her own car, is comfortable with light cooking, and is very engaging. The nanny will enjoy going on adventures and loves to sing and have fun. The nanny is comfortable with light housekeeping, helping out with family assi...stant duties, and ideally speaks another language. The schedule will be from 10-6 M, Tu, F and 2-6 Wed, Thursday with the possibility of more hours as needed. Compensation will be 18-22/hr with reimbursement for gas and mileage as well as paid vacation. Wonderful family that will be living at Stanford is searching for a nanny from June 5 to August 11, with paid holidays. While their immediate need is for this summer, they would likely use the nanny occasionally on weekends for date nights during the school year and possibly in subsequent summers. Their 8-year-old son enjoys swimming and trampoline (they have both pool and trampoline at our house), biking, is getting into art, has lots of energy and enjoys physical play, but is now getting into reading novels by himself. They also have a 3-year-old daughter that would usually be in day-care, but may occasionally need to be taken care of as well. The ideal nanny is compassionate and kind, but also firm and good at setting and enforcing limits and boundaries. Their son does have a low frustration tolerance, and the family works with a behavioral specialist to combat this who you would be trained by. Compensation is $17-$20/hr depending on experience and the schedule is either 12-6 M-F or 9-3 M-F depending on the nanny's preference.
