Happy Labor Day! A special round of applause is in order for all the front-line workers who have been extending their efforts amid the circumstances of today. You are our heroes!

We celebrate the hero that you are, Teri! With the challenge of COVID-19 in our midst, Teri’s professionalism and experience allowed her to consistently make strong decisions in difficult circumstances. Quickly stepping up as lead dispatcher to ensure proper driver communications, Teri helped train others while also keeping up with additional duties in Human Resources and sales. It’s the flexibility and initiative that has helped the team bridge the gap throughout these difficult times. We are grateful for you, Teri!

As we continue to celebrate our Coach USA heroes, we want to highlight one of Shirantha’s first comments when first brought onto the Coach USA team six years ago. Give me a chance to show you what I can do, and what I can learn, he said. Living up to that very comment, Shirantha is described today as a productive and reliable mechanic. Whether going on a rescue call or helping out with pull on his day off, Shirantha is always willing! With a recent need to activate multiple buses, Shirantha worked tirelessly with the rest of the team to get the job done! Thank you, Shirantha! A hero to say the least.

In light of the uncertainty we’re faced with currently, we’d like to take time to ‘Celebrate Our Heroes’! Individuals on the Coach USA team who’ve been on the frontlines and behind the scenes working hard as we rise above the unprecedented times. It’s just as important that we celebrate our heroes that may not be seen on your bus route too! Carla is described as one who is always willing to help out wherever and whenever the need may arise. As the office team experienced a shift amid COVID-19, to keep the system functioning smoothly, Carla took on dual responsibility in both areas of Human Resources along with Sales. We’re so appreciative of your efforts, Carla! You are a true hero for All West Coachlines! Fun fact: Carla and her husband founded All West Coachlines in 1986!
