With all of this windy weather we’ve been having , we thought it was time for us to introduce (or reintroduce!) you to the product that helped put us on the map: our Sactown Allergy Tea. Donation roundup! Last year was a whirlwind for us - personally, professionally and every other way in-between. December was truly overwhelming for our humble shop and we are honored that so many of you chose to spend locally and give the gift of flavor and comfort during the most challenging year of our lives. Because of your generosity and support for our small business, we were able to donate:... $276 to Food Literacy Center (proceeds from Q4 sales of their Ranch Popcorn Spice ) over $3,000 to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (exceeding even our own expectations for the month of December!! ) We plan to donate 5% of January online sales to WEAVE, Inc., Sacramento’s crisis center for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. In Feb we will be donating 5% of online sales to our friends Haven for Birth in East Sacramento which provides inclusive and equitable prenatal, birthing and postnatal support for new parents. We continue to practice COVID-safe practices at our storefront. As a result, our shop remains closed to the public but we are available for free storefront pickup daily between 10-4. To help you plan your visit, we’ve compiled the following best practices: Whenever possible please place all orders via our website to expedite ...payment and help ensure that your order doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. Please wear a mask at pickup. If our door is closed, that means it is locked - just knock and we will bring your order to you. We process orders in the order they are received, regardless of size of the order. Please do not arrive for pickup if you haven’t yet received an Order Fulfilled email or confirmed with our staff that your order is ready for pickup. Please try to be understanding and refrain from calling us names if we are not able to bump your order up on the priority list. Our incredible staff is already working as hard as they can and they are adhering to company policy. If an exception to this rule has been made for you previously, it is not an indication that it can be done every time, especially during our busier times. Due to order volumes we are unfortunately not able to accommodate walk-up orders. This includes orders that are placed through your phone while you are standing in front of our shop. If you have placed an order and change your mind because of our current policies, please let us know and we will be happy to cancel your order and issue a full refund. We appreciate your bearing with us and ongoing support of our business! It is our sincere hope that we can provide some small amount of comfort and warmth during this otherwise challenging and dark time. Now get out there and VOTE!

Another day, another insane collab. The wizards @backroadbeekeeping have rolled out their latest seasonal creation; Gingerbread Cookie creamed honey infused with our Gingerbread Spice! Creamed honey is a raw honey that has been processed to control the crystallization process. The tiny honey crystals in creamed honey give it a more spreadable consistency that lends itself well to spice infusions, and help prevent larger crystals from forming (as we occasionally see in li...quid honey!).
