Message from Archbishop Foley Beach Sisters and Brothers in Christ, As our nation inaugurates a new President and Vice-President, and begins a new session of Congress, let us speak to God on behalf of our nation. I recommend the following prayers from the Book of Common Prayer 2019 as a start.... #37. For the President and All in Civil Authority, p. 657 O Lord our Governor, whose glory fills all the world: We commend this Nation to your merciful care, that we may be guided by your providence, and dwell secure in your peace. Grant to the President of this Nation, the Governor of this State, and to all in authority, wisdom and strength to know and to do your will. Fill them with the love of truth and righteousness, and make them continually mindful of their calling to serve this people in reverent obedience to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen. #38. For Congress or A State Legislature, p. 657 O God, the fountain of wisdom, whose will is good and gracious, and whose law is truth: So guide and bless our Senators and Representatives assembled in Congress, that they may enact laws pleasing in your sight, to the glory of your Name and the welfare of this people; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. #41. For Cities, Towns, and Other Communities, p. 658 Heavenly Father, you sent your Son among us to proclaim the kingdom of God in cities, towns, villages, and lonely places. Behold and visit, we pray, the communities throughout these United States of America. Renew the bonds of charity that uphold our civic life. Send us honest and able leaders. Deliver us from poverty, prejudice, and oppression, that peace may prevail with righteousness, and justice with mercy. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. Last year, she contracted a 100 piece orchestra and 70 member choir at LA’s Microsoft Theater for 4000 people! She also contracted a 50 piece orchestra for an iPhoneX commercial. Jennifer plays recording sessions and contracts musicians for live performances and filming projects via Instrumental Casting and she also created LA Curbside Entertainment! Via Instrumental Casting, Elaine Tubinis appears as a violinist in an iPhoneX commercial and she performed with an orchestra to a sold out crowd at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood with Persian Artist Shahkar and guest artist Andrea Bocelli. Elaine also appears as a violinist in a Will & Grace promo commercial and has played numerous live performances via Instrumental Casting. Oliver Walton plays in chamber ensembles, orchestras and does recording sessions. He recently performed with a 100 piece orchestra to a sold out crowd at the Microsoft Theater in LA. He is also an Assistant Talent Manager with Instrumental Casting. Oliver appears as a cellist on the FX TV show Better Things and in commercials for iPhone X, United Airlines, Bayer Migraine, GMC, Samsung, and Humira. Oliver plays cello for weddings and special events and he improvised a solo cello soundtrack for the upcoming feature film Something About Her, via Instrumental Casting.
