Thank YOU for celebrating my birthday with me! Now here’s my attempt at making a #safeathome burger that tasted better than anything I could buy from a restaurant. Ground sirloin, homemade barbecue sauce and about 16 layers of yummy stuff & I had yet to add tomato to this. As it was I had to detach my jaw just to eat it and attack from the middle. Yep I followed up with my favorite birthday treat apple pie BUT this time I put it in the glass because I’m trying to avoid the extra pie crust calories LOL! REAL PATRIOTS WEAR MASKS to STOP the SPREAD of COVID! I do not push my politics online and am not now but obviously wearing a mask is a matter of life and death. Happy Mother's Day good MOMS! With restaurants closed how do you celebrate yours hopefully "safe at home?" Coupon book?! Mom & Grandma got a delivery from Amazon Fresh with fun food and a little later I'm attempting FaceTime. Best I can do...the corona virus may look like a flower but not the kind I want to give. HOPE is on the horizon so channel your mom and just keep swimming!

IF you're like me you will do your best to #stayhome as much as is humanly possible until there's a vaccine. That's the only thing that stops this covid 19 spread humanely. Don't believe any politician who tells you it's a worthwhile risk to reopen because they clearly don't care about the risk to you and yours and are motivated by other factors. This week I've seen the pics of the small % of "protestors" in Michigan and while they are getting major media attention I'd rather hear from the other 99% of responsible families who believe in truth, science and safety first. Feel free to post about what you're doing to stay sane, avoid the virus while you the people you care about stay safe at home!

I know it’s beyond difficult for most of us now. So when I’m silent imagine I’m fighting my own battles but still here with you. I’m not going to sing imagine (you’re welcome) or post videos of exotic pets in my kitchen. BUT if everything works out I may get to bring my blind old rescue cat Emily home from the hospital tonight or tomorrow. Real stuff. Otherwise I’m OK and I’m trying to be grateful reminding myself that small problems don’t matter now. I realize so m...any people have it far worse than I do and there’s more to come that we’re all going to have to deal with. Wish I had some words that could help lift anyone but honestly I’m concerned for all of us and I realize that’s not very inspiring. On a not crappy-note some friends have informed me that #auctionhunters is free at Pluto TV which streams ours & other shows. I’m not being paid by Pluto - I just thought if somebody needed a smile they could find it there. Let me know how you’re coping and what you are binge watching. If you have any advice for #coronavirus life-hacks like how to properly hunker down and stay positive I’d love to hear it and who knows you might really help somebody else who needs it.
