Did we ever tell you the story about our Hulk Dart that we are building at All American Classic Car Restoration to promote Palm Springs Cosplay Cars? Here are some pictures of just where we are with the car's construction currently. The story behind the build up of this '68 Dodge Dart that this mild mannered, daily driver, mom & pop vehicle (Bruce Banner-mode) transforms into the equivalent of a very rare, specially prepared Hurst Hemi Dart "Hulk" machine when triggered by t...he "right" circumstances. Currently we are formulating the execution of out next vehicle, a Spiderman PS Cosplay Car (you'll have to guess the muscle car we chose for this one). Goku and Captain America are under consideration as well, all tied to muscle car platforms. Note that we are not competing in PS Cosplay Cars, just putting our muscle where our mouth is with cars that demonstrate our vision of cool vehicles within the theme. We are very excited by the vehicles that have been entered in this competition already. With only two days left in the competition, time is running out be considered for the vast array of prizes we have for the winners of four four categories of competition. Our Toyota SR5 continues to progress with full body prep and headed to primer. Paint will appear next week weather permitting - this weekend is going to be a hot one!

Our Palm Springs PD vehicle is getting some love this week to handle that "customized" door that was damaged on duty. As you can see the challenge is getting new doors and making them all match the rest of the car. We found a pair of used Crown Victoria doors, and refurbished them for new service. The latest vehicle under construction at AACCR is this very clean 1968 Buick Riviera that is undergoing a tune up and general check up. The big job, which will certainly add to the drivability of the vehicle, are a set of disc brakes at all four corners. #AACCR #Buick #Riviera #disc #brakes #tuneup
