Good morning. We know this is last minute but due to the air quality it is just unsafe to hold classes today August 22nd. Please pray for those effected by all of the fires and keep your pups safe.

Tonight this fire got a little too close for comfort. This was a structure fire from the orchard on 193. Thanks to the fast action of our team we were able to get the dogs out of boarding room safetly and moved to the house. The fire is under control and @calfire will be here for a few hours cleaning up. Thank you to everyone who reached out to make sure we were okay. Thank you for those who drove to help move kennels and dogs even if it meant getting stuck at Gold Hill.... Thank you to those who offered their homes and rooms as a place to stay if we should be displaced. It brings tears to my eyes to see a community who cares and is willing to litterally drive into a fire to help. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you. Today is Mina's 9th birthday. I remember 9 years ago talking to Rob about wanting a German Shepherd puppy. I did some research and found a breeder. We set up a meeting where we weren't going to get pick one out that day we were just going to look. When we met Mina for the first time she was 3 months old, super sweet, came and said hi right away, sat in my lap for what seemed like hours and wanted attention (not much has changed in 9 years).
