Talk about a diamond in the rough. This 1959 Buick Electra was found at a Pomona swap meet with minimal repairs needed! No evidence of any accidents, great floors, and the only rust found is surface rust! Very clean unrestored barn find.

How's this for a sweet old piece of luxury history. This is a 1940 Cadillac 4 door sedan, one of the last 4 or so of this year and model known to exist in the US. It came in with a rough running motor and a compression test revealed 0 compression in one cylinder. After pulling the head it was obvious that it had a water leak due to one piston being alot cleaner, also had a valve hanging open. After pulling out 2 valves, relapping the valves, magnafluxing, replacing a hydrolic lifter and plunger and then total reassemble she purrs like a kitten

Bruces 57 4x4 update: Well we put it all together and now took it all apart for sand blasting, body work, paint, and final assembly. Here's a couple of pics showing sandblasting inside and out. Also first coat of epoxy primer before starting body work.

Here's some rust repair to Chris R's 56 Chevy 2 door. The windshield post had extensive rust or cancer at the bottom of the A pillar due to the car being parked under a tree for years without the leaves being cleaned off. The leaves decompose and hold moisture when it dews or rains and the metal rots out at an accelerated rate. Initially it didn't look all that bad but once the chrome trim was taken off and the metal was probed to test its strength, WOW I guess the paint was ...the only thing holding the metal together. So all rotten metal was cut out and the surrounding area cleaned and prepped for new metal to be welded in. In this case we found some solid but original windshield posts for most of the repair metal, although some was made up from an old Karman Gia hood we had lying around. Check out the pics and let us know if you like the results. See more

Heres another cool project we're working on. Well its not to cool yet but it's getting there. This is a 1972 Chevy 1/2 ton C-10 short bed fleetside pick up. This truck is an original short bed, so the frame and the bed have not been shortened, which makes this a good start point. The truck came in as a non running tow in, we put a fuel pump on and got it running but the motor was bad, smoked like a chimney, so we replaced the motor, motor was defective so changed it aga...in, updated the brakes to factory power disc, replaced the steering box due to severe leaking, replaced upper control arm bushings both sides, replaced all trans seals due to severe leakage, repaired turn signal switch, and got all lights working. future plans are- 700r4 trans, posi rear end, suspension upgrades, lowering, rust repairs, body and paint, and interior (thats all). Update on bruces 57 4x4- All the front sheet metal has been fitted and trimmed, the bed and cab and front sheet metal have all been set up on the frame at the finished height, the radiator support was heavily cut and then rebuilt to accommodate a new aluminum radiator and to clear that big 6.2 diesel. I am currently working on installing a banks turbo and setting up the steering.

currently working on a 1957 chevy pick up project. Goal is to convert a intermediate stepside bed truck with a nova subframe into a 4X4. We got the truck delivered on the 2 wheel drive chassis and the customer also drove in a 4X4 82 chevy 3/4 ton diesel powered pick up for us to use as parts for the conversion. So when done it will be a 1957 shortbed stepside pick up on a shortened 82 gmc chassis with a 6.2 diesel and a 4 speed overdrive automatic trans. We recently installed a rough country 4" suspension lift. I will put up a photo album soon for those who want to check it out

Eds truck after the paint shop- Looks pretty cool with only 2 headlights. Its pretty cool that you can just swap front sheet metal and make your 59 look like a 55. I like it
