It is a tradition that in December, the The Solvang Bakery creates magical (and edible!) gingerbread replicas of The Alisal’s most popular buildings. Even though there won’t be the spicy smells of gingerbread throughout the Sycamore Room this year, we’ll be #DreamingOfTheAlisal’s gingerbread village - and maybe even make one of our own at home! The holidays at The Alisal are so special and we are always excited to add to this magical experience! While it is so fun to replica...te the iconic structures at The Alisal and bring to life the holiday spirit through gingerbread, it is also such a joy to see the reactions. Children and adults alike smile and point as they notice the small details of their own memories through this re-creation.
