On the first Wednesday in October each year, National #CoffeeWithACopDay brings men and women in uniform together with their communities to connect over a warm cup of #coffee When first launched in 2011 it was created as an opportunity for fellow #police officers to interact with their neighborhoods and establish meaningful connections.

This October for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth we are supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and honoring those who never give up hope in the face of #BreastCancer

Today we remember those we lost. We remember the sacrifices that were made to help those in need in the darkest of times. We honor the heroes who ran towards the unknown. The first Labor Day was celebrated on Sept. 5, 1882, in New York City, and it was declared a national holiday in 1894. It is a tribute to the contributions that the American workforce has made to the strength and well-being of this great nation. Balcones Heights PD’s Sgt. Joey Sepulveda was shot Wednesday while investigating suspicious persons who may have been burglarizing vehicles. He is President of the Balcones Heights Police Officer’s Association and the Director of TMPA Region 4. Joey is also known for his close relationsh...ip with a nearby school that he visits every day to ensure the safety of students. Just one day before the incident, students delivered thank you cards for their community heroes, the Balcones Heights Police. Sepulveda was there to greet them and give them a tour of the department.
