Albany Bowl

Very sad to learn of the permanent closing of Albany Bowl. Yet, there was a bright spot yesterday as I was able to purchase a couple of bar signs which will co...ntinue to enjoy pride of place in future celebrations. Many, many thanks to Lisa Parella Crenshaw for the heads up about this sale yesterday morning. John Tierney told me that this was the second such event, and that last week there were even MORE signs! It's probably a good thing that I missed it, otherwise I would have been too tempted to spend too much!
