Alameda post office officials and mail carriers assembled in 1912 on the front stairs of the Alameda Free Library. T. W. Leydecker, Postmaster (At center, in white hat.) H. M. This case was donated to the museum by the Alameda Citizens Savings Bank (where Bank of America is now) at the comer of Santa Clara and Park. This is an opportunity for members of our community to create a dynamic, working board striving to keep the collection interesting, educational, and enjoyable for our diverse population. Alameda Museum is the official repository of historical documents and artifacts for the City. The board meets quarterly, with business being conducted by email between meetings.
