Throwback Thursday to a group of our Keystone Club young men volunteering at our annual Kids Nite Out event! On this night, members help with mentoring youth, working the games and activities, serving food and event wrap-up. We are happy to teach them how to give back to their Club and community, all while making an impact on our younger members. #GreatFyturesStartHERE

Staff Snapshot: You likely already know James, but if not, we'd like to introduce someone so vital to our organization for the past 14 years! Mr. James Adkins serves as our Program Director. He is a former Club member, attending from ages 7-17. Before becoming the Program Director, James served as Athletic Director and Social Recreation Director, and also worked for three years with the San Leandro Boys & Girls Club. James loves his work as he enjoys learning from and watching our kids evolve from young boys and girls into young men and women and beyond. He shares "I truly feel that it is both an honor and a privilege to help shape a better future as well as provide opportunities for our youth that might not see otherwise for themselves."

Thank you Kaiser Permanente Thrive East Bay Public Affairs for being a longtime partner of our Live Healthy program. This partnership has helped us increase our members' access to healthy, affordable foods including fresh produce, and increase their access to physical activity opportunities. We believe a strong, healthy body is at the core of developing an active mind and achieving academic and professional success, and Kaiser Permanente enables us to help provide that daily for our youth and teen members. #GreatFuturesStartHERE
