We are coming back! We are doing a slow and gentle reopening of the dental office. We will have limited hours, we still need to adjust our appointments due to social distancing and infection control. Please call the office at 510-521-0588 and leave a voicemail (or talk to us!), we’ll ask you some screening questions and make an appointment for you. And like during the shelter-in-place, if you have a dental emergency, please let us know and we’ll see you right away. We are all looking forward to seeing you again soon!

The California dental association has requested that all dental offices remain closed indefinitely to comply with the shelter in place request. A primary difficulty is lack of adequate protective equipment for frontline hospital workers, and therefore for dentists also. We miss all of our wonderful patients already. Please contact Dr Schmidt if you have a dental emergency and he will help evaluate appropriate next steps for you, there are several options available. We will stay in touch. As per request of the California Dental association to all member dentists, we are closing our office for two weeks to help facilitate self-quarantine and to conserve masks and gloves for frontline hospital health workers.
