The Contra Costa Superior Court has issued its Fifth Amended Emergency Local Rules for Family Law, which are effective March 1. This amendment permits in-person filing in line with the Court’s 3/1 reopening and amends prior provisions on electronic service to mirror the requirements of the Code of Civil Procedure and Rules of Court. https://www.cc-courts.org/general/local-rules.aspx

The Contra Costa Superior Court will continue its limited public access and suspension of jury trials through February 26, 2021, with a planned reopening on March 1, 2021. That reopening date is subject to change depending on pandemic conditions.
