The virtual course will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 8:30pm ET and Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30pm ET. You only need to register for one. In this hourlong webinar, participants will take a guided tour of American Legion Auxiliary-specific tools and training in place within the Military and Veteran Caregiver Network (MVCN). You’ll also learn how to identify caregivers in your community, as well as become empowered to identify yourself as a caregiver. We’ll also talk about the new and exciting developments for volunteer opportunities through the VA emerging to meet the needs of caregivers during the pandemic. Unit 552 is still trying to stay connected with our active-duty military members and their families during these trying times! We just delivered 120 backpacks ...to the Armed Services YMCA, and also 144 hygiene kits to STEP (Support the Enlisted Project) to help out the sailors of the USS Bonhomme Richard who lost all of their personal belongings in the ship's recent fire.
