Who can pledge and help us save this precious baby? We didn't know anything about this sweet boy until today. What we learned has blown our minds! Imagine what he has been going through: he was hit by a car on September 8th, and has been sitting in a shelter, IN PAIN, FOR OVER A MONTH! There is no way we will let him continue to suffer! The shelter put him on pain meds, but that is just a minimal bandaid for what he really needs: emergency surgery. According to the shelter vet and the X-rays, he has a fractured femur and pelvis. We would love to save his precious life and ease his pain, but need your help! We will need donations for his surgery, once we save him. AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - LUCKY Lucky is a sweet and classically beautiful 3-year-old Golden Retriever, and he weighs 75 Ibs. He is a skittish dog, since life ha...sn’t been good to him. Yet despite that, he exhibits no aggression, which is a testimony to his inherently wonderful temperament. At this stage Lucky is apprehensive of new people, so it takes him a while to warm up, but with time and love he is learning to trust again. This gorgeous boy does great with dogs but only plays with large-sized ones, so his forever home needs to have at least one other furry-companion his size, and no children (as he is afraid of them). Lucky is a total gentleman when it comes to doggie manners: he is housebroken and very easy to walk. This special boy is a joy to have around. He just needs a patient owner who can work with him to earn his trust. We can assure you that that love and devotion will be returned ten fold.
