The dojo is open 7 days a week with showers and locker rooms. During the past few months, the dojo has pivoted with online Zoom classes, practice at the park, private lessons for families and only weapons training with the samurai practice sword (Bokken) and practice staff (Jo) for social distancing. Our students’ health and safety is our priority. Gentil Pennewaert Shihan ensures the cleanliness of our dojo with electrolyzed, pH-modified water that provides no-residue cleaning and hospital-level disinfection. The product is registered with the Federal and California Environmental Protection Agency and the disinfecting water’s hypochlorous makeup is proven effective against 99.99% of known bacteria and viruses including MRSA, C.diff, E.coli, and Salmonella. We continue to practice social distancing with weapons training and clean our mats daily. Getting ready for our Samurai Summer Camps starting next week from July 13-16.
