After a two month hiatus, we’ve got some virtual events lined up for this month: As bummed as we were that stage 3 was tabled due to COVID-19, we are happy to announce that stage 4 of the @aigasandiego X Intuit Designer Launch Series will be happening as planned on Thursday May 7th. Secure your virtual seat by registering at the web address provided in the post. Big thanks to everyone working behind the scenes to pull this off ... Then on the 12th, well be hosting an online talk from 4:00 - 5:00 PM with Roxie Prima & Phoebe Corning, the co-founders of Pandr Design Co. about their work as muralists in San Diego. This talk is open to all City GD students, but you *must* RSVP by shooting us an email at [email protected]. Lastly we’ll celebrate the end of what will surely be the most surreal semester to date with a virtual student mixer on Tuesday, May 19th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Join us this month for our student meeting and risograph workshop, Monday March 4th in AH 405 from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Following our meeting, we will tour Enormously's studio and observe a screen printing demonstration from 7:00PM-8:00PM. On Thursday March 14th, we will tour San Diego Magazine from 10:30AM-11:30AM. ... Our annual event UNITE will return this year on March 21st! Finally, don't forget to purchase tickets for the Y Conference, March 8th and 9th held at the Alexandria Torrey Pines.
