POSTAL PALM SPRINGS PLEDGES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR AAP FOOD SAMARITANS 20% of Net Revenue from Designated Transactions in March to be Donated to AAP... PALM SPRINGS February 23, 2021: AAP Food Samaritans announced that it has received a pledge of financial support from local retailer Postal Palm Springs. During the month of March 2021, 20% of net USPS, UPS, and FedEx transactions at the shipping, mail and retail center will be donated to AAP Food Samaritans. Postal Palm Springs is located at 1717 E. Vista Chino in Palm Springs, in the Stater Brothers Grocery store complex. This is the first promotion of this kind to be arranged for AAP Food Samaritans. Even the smallest act of kindness has the power to change lives, said Postal Palm Springs co-owners Steve Benavides and Michael Rueb. Every act of charity contributes toward improving lives and the community in which we live. At Postal Palm Springs we feel a deep sense of responsibility to serve our communities. We are devastated by the sudden passing of our dear friend Mary Wilson. She was a long-time supporter of ours, and headlined Evening Under the Stars twice (2007 and 2009). She also joined us and entertained at our Jeannette Rockefeller Angel Program Kickoff Celebration in 2015. She was a tremendous performer and a gracious person.
