https://charity.gofundme.com//detox-and-treatment-center-r With the COVID 19 crisis and because our business relies on referrals from the hospitals we are not getting enough clients to support the payroll to staff the detox and treatment houses with 24 hr care specialists. COVID fear has resulted in a sharp decrease in referrals, a few employees quit out of fear instead of asking for a layoff. The staff is aware of the shortage of payroll funds and are continuing to work... anyway. It is true dedication to the new takeover plan and with faith that with our current leadership they are all in. COVID 19 could result in our 50 previously homeless veterans losing their homes forcing them to again return to the streets and homeless camps. In this business, services are provided and submitted for reimbursement. With the additional challenges from the slow down such as understaffed workers that process the applications and payments, we are at the mercy of the reimbursement gods. Delays in funding could result in further layoffs which will severely affect the future of the business and could possibly result in its financial collapse. We have all heard of the stimulus programs out there, but future promises don't solve today's crisis.
