Tomorrow we start our textbook distribution for all students. See below for the designated days and times: Monday August 17th will be for our Seniors. Tuesday August 18th will be for our Juniors... Thursday August 20th will be for our Sophomores. Friday August 21st will be for our Freshman. The times for every day will be as follows: Last names A-D will be from 8:00am-9:30am Last names E-K will be from 9:30am-11:00am Last names L-R will be from 1:00pm-2:30pm Last names L-R will be from 1:00pm-2:30pm Last names S-Z will be from 2:30pm-4:00pm We ask that you enter campus via the Jackson St. entrance near the baseball field. We are also asking that make sure you update your data confirmation via our school website, and then print, sign your emergency card and bring it with you on your assigned day/time. We will collect the signed emergency card on your assigned day in order to receive your textbooks! Please note: we will also be taking pictures for our 2020-21 yearbook, so be sure to dress appropriately.

Thank you for a wonderful kick off and a fantastic start to a new year. Arlington staff were in awe of how great our students were during this first week of digital learning. Class of 2020: It is time to come pick up your cap and gown. Also, each Senior will get a yard sign! Next Tuesday, May 5th, we will be assisting students and families from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for your designated time slot and a map assisting you on the process. You must have your ID and enter off the Lincoln Avenue parking lot. Lion pride!

**SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY** Please read below from our PTSA President Jag Patel: "Hello Arlington Lion Community, We hope that you and your families are safe and healthy during this health crisis. AHS PTSA is excited to announce that currently there will be two senior scholarships offered, one $1,000 scholarship and one $500. This may change to more as we get closer to the deadline of submission, which is May 22, 2020.... Your effort in getting these out to our graduating seniors will help AHS PTSA a great deal. The benefit of helping our Senior Class of 2020 Lions to further their educational journey is very important to our non-profit organization. We urge you to share this application, and also remind them that the student who is the Senior will need to be a current AHS PTSA member to apply.
