On this day 5 years ago, we rescued our beauty Jessie. She is the most loving and sweetness pup you’ll ever meet. She would love nothing more than her belly rubbed and to be loved on. I’m so thankful @veganstrongwarrior saw the rehoming post so quickly, picked her up and she never went back to that home again.... She is a forever fur baby in our household. Namaste, Amber

I had the honor today of teaching my first private event of the New Year! These beauties were winding down from their Bachelorette Weekend and I brought them back into zen with a relaxing Restorative Yoga practice ending with a reiki infused savasana. I wish the Bride and her bridal party have a magical wedding on February 29th.... Namaste, Amber

When I quit my job in October to follow my dreams of being a Yoga Teacher, I vowed to finally put myself first. This included getting plenty of sleep, continuing to eat nutrient dense food and working out 5-6 times a week. I had gotten to the point where I would wake up in bed and start working and put myself on the back burner, rarely working out and losing almost all my muscle that I had worked so hard to put on, my health was diminishing and I could no longer pour from an ...empty cup. Flash forward to today and my muscle definition is back! Hard work and dedication to myself and my health has allowed me to no longer be stressed out, no longer depend on caffeine, maintain a healthy nights sleep and I do what I love, every single day! It’s okay to take a step back on your journey and access what can be changed so that you can continue to move forward. Namaste, Amber

This first week of the New Year has been a breath of fresh air for me. So many ideas are finally falling into place that I’ve been manifesting for some time. No matter where you are at on your journey, always remember those that were there by your side. This was one of the happiest days of my life when I finally pursued my dream of becoming a Yoga Teacher! You can see the pure love and excitement in my face as well as being at my favorite beach in Encinitas.... This is a reminder to always follow your dreams. It may not come tomorrow, but the daily tasks you do to get there are what matters. Once you obtain your goal, no one can take that away from you. Where are you on your journey? Yoda loves Yoga and Meditation and practices daily. May the Fourth Be with You!

Today was an amazing Self Care Sunday that starting with a relaxing meditative yoga flow with my special grounding essential oil alignment spray. I then headed up to my brothers to spend time with them as my niece and nephew went Easter egg hunting. I’ve been trying to stay more grounded and connect with the Earth while detoxing from social media so decided to read a bit from the amazing @msrachelhollis while enjoying the grass between my toes. ... I finished off my day with some creative paint pouring with @lesson_plans_and_lifting as we created new masterpieces and ideas for future projects. Today was magical as I had the honor of teaching Goat Yoga at Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary. As you can see, Lenny Kravitz was ready to practice and had his prime location next to me.
