I’m a huge advocate for women supporting women and women owned businesses. Being a female business owner myself for over 10 years I’ve certainly have had less opportunity because I am a female. I’ve been so down and distracted since Saturday. It’s frustrating to have to deal with theft and equipment and trying to get it all back. Thank goodness I had my clients images on me and thank goodness for Jonathan coming to my rescue! . . . Realizing that there is only so much I can do and to not be too hard on myself. I did what I could in that situation. Hid my equipment that I wasn’t using right then, locked the doors had my car in a place where people can see... but som...etimes this shit just happens. . . . My feelings are consistently changing between a few 1. There’s a pandemic and maybe that person was desperate during this time and needed to steal... 2. I will make sure my stuff is almost impossible to steal from me again (get a truck vault) and 3. Why is 2020 so gosh dang awful? Us small businesses and couples need a BREAK. . . . I was so consumed of doing police reports, canceling cards and seeing if my insurance covers my loss that I ALMOST forgot to post my new story on the Journal today.... . . . Well, I didn’t forget! These two incredible human being are up on the Journal today. I am so thankful for couples like them. My business would be almost non existent if it weren’t for clients like this . . . Heading up towards San Francisco today for a sweet intimate wedding! Wow it’s literally been since March since I traveled This is so strange for me especially since I’m usually traveling every other month or so. . . . However super excited to photograph this couple today! Will be exploring in the woods getting ready near their home that they bought together and just having a blast!
