MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES: BALL DIAMOND CLOSURE REMINDER Fencing that is currently around the 3 baseball and softball diamonds in town is for the annual ballfield renovation program. Each year, we thatch and aerate the turf, and reseed the field, so that it is in perfect condition each spring for baseball/softball sports seasons. ... We've noticed a high amount of people entering the fenced-off area, by moving and breaking them down to play inside, or to walk their dogs. We ask that you PLEASE do not do this, so that the field can be properly maintained in preparation for the groups that want to use it this spring/summer. Please be reminded that it is also a violation of Park Rules to tamper with or enter the fenced area. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. While park restrooms remained closed, parks are currently open, including playgrounds. We ask that you enjoy them safely and responsibly during this time.
