IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 In recognition of ongoing news reports and the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus, we realize our patients have questions. As dedicated health care professionals, we want you to know that we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and staff. Our practice strictly adheres to and exceeds the standards for infection control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, ...practicing the latest sterilization protocols, utilizing single-use disposable materials, and more. Every effort we have in place is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We want you to know that we are monitoring this situation very closely, and we will keep you updated regularly. Symptoms of coronavirus are reported as flu-like, with varying degrees of severity. While we do not know everything about this virus to date, individuals who are elderly (65 years or older per government designation) and/or immunocompromised appear to be the most at risk of a severe infection. Per the current CALAOMS (California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons) recommendations, we will be rescheduling all patients who are not scheduled on an urgent basis. We will be here and available for all patients experiencing pain or discomfort. In an effort to reduce social contact in the spread of COVID-19, we recommend holding off on any care that can be rescheduled for the weeks ahead. We are putting in place many additional protocols in place: We are minimizing the number of patients in the office to reduce social contact. We are wiping all counters and handles/door knobs hourly. If you arrive for an appointment, call or text us at our main number (818-707-0357) and we can let you know when we are ready to seat you to minimize or avoid any time in a reception room. After thorough smoke damage restoration of the office by 911 Restoration of Ventura County, our staff is now in the process of prepping rooms and instruments for surgery. We are working hard to clean the office from the fires and smoke. As of now we are planning on reopening next Monday, November 19th.

Agoura Hills Oral Surgery will remain closed due to the fire and continued high winds through Tuesday, November 13th. The air quality index in the area remains at hazardous levels in the Agoura area and we remain on mandatory evacuation. We will assess the office on Wednesday to determine when it will be safe to return. We hope that everyone and their families stay safe during this period.
