Knowing that at 70 I’m going to be running a 10K race in late October, I bought this book just before checking in to Rancho La Puerta in Mexico. I’m so inspired by the strength of Ida Keeling, now 105 and still running!

Lunchtime salads during the past four days. Always a bed of chopped greens beneath arugula, kale, spinach, and romaine or herb greens. A cornucopia of luscious flavors, colors, fiber, and nutrients. Recipes on my website for preparing the salads (see cooking show video), and for the specialty items Curried Tofu, Raisin & Almond Salad; Shiitake Mushroom Fermented Black Bean Green Beans; Favorite Carrot & Raisin Salad.
