Have you ever wanted to see into the future? I know I have! I wonder if we had different information if we would choose a different result? Do we choose our pets or do they choose us? Do they know before we do that we are theirs? Do we and our pets see into the future?... The reason I ask all this is because of the many psychic cats that I had in my life. A pair that stands out is Mai and Indi. They were a 10-year-old brother and sister that had always lived together. When we adopted old cats we did not assume that they would live much longer, and that turned out to be true for Indi. His sister, Mai, you could not touch or even catch her. She was beautiful but aloof. After living with us for six months, Indi passed away from cancer. I have always known that those cats were drawn to us because Indi wanted to be sure Mai always had a home. Mai lived with us for 12 years, never once changing her personality and finally passing away at the ripe old age of 22. She lived through the stress of moving from Chico to Paradise, the Paradise fire, and living in my office during our evacuation from Paradise. Mai was a very strong cat! If I had taken a moment to look into the future, would I have taken on a kitty who really didn’t interact with people and lived to the ripe old age of 22, 12 with us? I do think precognition about cats would b extremely helpful. Maybe I should have asked my grad students! Prediction Party January 5, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on Zoom. I enjoy watching my cats, Long Fang Nu and Meelo Milo, run up and down the hallway, then streak over to their cat tree taking turns running up it or using it as a scratching post. Their tails are up, a sign of a happy cat, both running as fast as possible. Exercise for me has always been making myself do it, getting a minimum amount of movement in right after I get up in the morning even though I’m still sleepy. I know people who love to exercise. My mom and sister regularly ...went to a gym and stayed as long as they could. Yuck - I don’t even like walking into a gym! Today, the light bulb went off! What if exercise was fun? What if I played? I can tell you I have tried all kinds of exercise to find something I might like, but I have never found any exercise to be fun, just a chore. I now choose to apply my psychic abilities so I to get to play while I exercise! In my imagination, I can be a cat running up and down the hall and running and scratching the cat tree. Now I find I can do any kind of exercise anytime of the day because l spend the time being a happy cat running and jumping, feeling agile and coordinated. Meow, Margaret
