Who Are We? Welcome to the Academy of General Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry! The Academy of General Dentistry is the second largest dental association in the United States, founded in 1952. It is the ONLY organization dedicated to representing the needs and interests of general practitioners. It is currently comprised of over 38,000 practical general dentists.... Tip of the Day: Upgrade your practice’s creature comforts. Make patients feel like guests with thoughtful extras. Offer bottled water. Provide coffee table books as well as diverse, up-to-date magazines. Provide Wi-Fi, and urge visitors to use it. Display fresh-cut flowers at the front desk. Get creative and use your imagination!
