Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has its belt ranking system divided by kids and adults. Sampa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has its own belt system, very similar to the official one regulated by IBJJF. In fact, to make it simple any belt a child student receives before the Grey/White Belt is part of our Sampa System Belt. Usually, kids will receive two belts before the first official belt. Also, NO CHILD can be a Black belt per the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation)... For adults, we also have our own system during white Belt, just because it takes from white to blue around two years. So, we decided to create our own system to motivate our students. Our goal is to keep students and make them black belts and not only filter the tough ones. So, any belt an adult student receives before the Blue belt is part of our Sampa System and it can be 3 to 4 belts depending on the student performance. After 4 stripes, any student is eligible to receive a new belt but not entitled, the coach is the only one responsible to decide if the student is performing properly for that belt. It gets more and more strict about the performance as the student advances in belts. If you have any question please call 626-335-4971

During this time, much activities are made such as martial arts classes, soccer, obstacle courses, arts and crafts, field trips to the park, to the San Dimas racquet club pool, to the beach and much more! After 3 pm many parents come and pick them up but others that still have to work leave the kids to the extended day care where the kids still can participate in other activities such as our own regular evening Jiu Jitsu classes. We are here to serve you and to offer a program for those families in need, so please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know how could we provide an even better service and if it is in our reach we will definitely do it. Hey Friend, We can pick up your children at their school, our drivers will pick them up and bring to Sampa Martial Arts. They will arrive and do a class around... 2:45 pm 3:30 pm this class will be focused on physical conditioning, strength, balance and coordination. That class is optional in case they have too much home work. At 4 pm The pee wee class (younger kids) will start and it will end at 5pm, parents can pick up their kids right after or around 6 pm when they come back from work. Also at 5 pm the juniors class (older Kids) will start and the remaining kids will do their second Class. Your children will not only get exercise during the martial arts class but they will learn valuable life-skills such as manners and respect for their teachers, parents, friends, and themselves They will develop a positive "Never Give Up" attitude that will carry over into school, home and sports.
