/ "Stopped by this location as a walk-in, only waited about 15 to 20 min to be seen. The doctor was extremely nice and thorough and she took her time and explained things to me in a way that I could understand. I so wish that she was my primary care provider, she was that good. Also, I got a call with lab results in record time. I would highly recommend this urgent care!"

They not only listened to my symptoms but used several methods to verify what I was saying and was able to diagnose me properly while making me feel 100% reassured! We remain committed to providing our community with the best possible care. In order to keep our guests safe and limit potential exposure to COVID, here are our recommendations for seeking care, based on your symptoms: For those actively showing symptoms of COVID-19: We ask that these patients WAIT IN THEIR CAR and do not enter into the waiting room. Once in the parking lot, call the clinic for further instructions. For those who are sick with symptoms unrelated to COVID...-19: Since several illnesses can be diagnosed remotely, we recommend booking a TeleCare appointment with one of our medical professionals. For those who are injured or in need of diagnostic imaging (ie: x-rays, blood tests, etc.): Treatment for sprains, breaks, and other conditions should not be delayed as this risks further injury. Head to your closest AFC clinic for care. If you have questions about how to seek treatment, give us a call! We'll be able to point you in the right direction.

/ "I went in yesterday for a check-up, and I was reasonably anxious about going into a medical facility during a pandemic, but there was only one other patient there and I was given a pair of gloves. I was already wearing a mask but they also supplied those if needed. I thought the staff, all around, was very kind and in good spirits. I feel like my concerns were adequately addressed and I didn't feel like just another "number" while I was there. Thank you guys!"

These days, many of us have become regular visitors to the home gym. While our workouts certainly look different than they used to, there are still a handful of important things to keep in mind as you stay active: 1 Always remember to warm-up for your activity, even if this means a shorter workout. 2 While the home gym is convenient, don't forget to take proper rest days so your body can heal.... 3 Protect your joints and switch up which body parts you plan to exercise each day. 4 Make sure to stay hydrated during and after your workout and fuel up with high protein foods.

Believe it or not, it's almost time to roll back our clocks! While many of us look forward to this extra hour of sleep all year long, it can seriously throw off your sleeping schedule. In preparation for Daylight Saving Time ending this Sunday, start putting these practices in place now to assure that your rest won't be seriously disrupted -Slowly start shifting the time you wake up a little bit later every morning leading up to the change. Get used to going to bed a little... bit later as well. -Try to keep up with your daily routine as best as you can. -Make sure to close your blinds as you sleep so the early morning sun does not wake you. -As always, avoid caffeinated beverages after 2 pm in the afternoon. -Although tempting to sleep in an extra hour, aim to stay asleep for a set amount of time. This will help you maintain your day-to-day rhythm. See more
/ "Today was my second visit to this urgent care and on each occasion I have found the staff to be courteous, the facility clean and the wait times minimal. The doctors and staff take all concerns seriously and I was even given helpful advice to take to my primary care physician, which helped immensely with a recurring condition! If only all healthcare facilities were this quick, efficient and pleasant to deal with!"
/ "The staff at AFC Urgent Care was very polite, patient and friendly. Their workspaces were clean and everyone followed protocol, maintaining the 6ft apart rule, wearing masks and sanitizing their hands. Everyone seemed happy and loved their job. I would definitely refer this place to anyone."
