What got that baby in may also help get it out... Oxytocin is released whenever we feel loved, happy, aroused, and comfortable. It is also the hormone responsible for uterine contractions. Kissing and cuddling your partner during labor can help get that oxytocin flowing and encourage contractions to strengthen and labor to progress.... So get cozy. Add that special first dance song to your birth playlist and tell each other how much you love each other as you work to get that baby into the world.
