We posted a new benchmark on our website. Comparing ZFS performance when using enterprise 12G SAS disk drives versus enterprise 12G SAS TCG-FIPS hardware encrypted disk drives. The goal of the benchmark was to see if using TCG-FIPS disk drives would result in a performance reduction and if the reduction would be worth the data security of TCG-FIPS disk drives.
