Lisa Jenkins is excited to be heading back into this amazing place on Tuesday! It has been challenging working from home the past 5 months. Thank you to my incredible staff for keeping things rolling during my absence. I've missed you all so much!

All is well at the hospital after a fire burned a building, Cashway Electric, across the street on Morena Blvd. It was classified as a 2 alarm fire with 12 firetrucks and 80 firefighters responding. Luckily the breeze was blowing away from the hospital and there was no danger to the animals there. Our prayers and best wishes go out to Cashway. https://www.cbs8.com//509-93271f20-78ef-45ca-b564-11aaa63f

Here's a good read on Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus Stereotype 2 (RHDV2). Feel free to call after August 20 to check on our new supply of vaccines and to schedule an appointment for an examination and vaccine. We are no longer taking reservations for a waiting list due to the enormous amount of time it takes away from keeping up with our medical emergencies and medically essential clients. We are here for you and will have more vaccines very soon. We appreciate your pati...ence during this challenging pandemic. Thank you. https://www.newyorker.com/magaz//07/06/the-rabbit-outbreak

Here it is! Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHDV2) has officially reached California. We heard rumors about Jack rabbits found in Palm Springs that had/ may have had RHDV2, then and got confirmation from the CAHFS Lab in San Bernadino that the rabbits had gone there but they would not release official information till this press release. https://cdfgnews.wordpress.com//rabbit-hemorrhagic-disease/

There are rumors that Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease has now been found in rabbits in Southern California. We have been told that the USDA will confirm with a press release tonight or tomorrow. We have been working on obtaining vaccine and hope have it available soon. https://www.8newsnow.com//warning-deadly-contagious-rabbi/

Can't wait to read whole book by Jennifer Ackerman. In the meanwhile, I think you will love this . . . Maybe the birds can teach us how to get along. https://www.wsj.com//cooperation-is-for-the-birds-11587736
