Tried out the Greenhorn grill on Sunday. This was their first weekend under new ownership, it’s been a few years since I’ve been there, and I have to say I’m happy ! The owners are very nice people, the service was great the food was good. The ride to and from Alta Sierra is a staple for Kern county residents In street bikes and for the dirt / dual sport crowd the greenhorns are epic. I hope you’ll all support the new owners as it’s tough to make a living from a mountain restaurant. As of now they’re open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see ya there

Please join us tomorrow afternoon, 9/26/20 as we honor our friend Dave Strauser. We will be kick stands up at 4:00 pm at Adventure Center Powersports. The ride will go through the rolling foothills of Kern County ( round mountain road) and finish at Ethan’s , approximately 22 miles. Cost is $25. and that will include 2 tacos and a drink, proceeds will go to the Strauser family’s charity of their choice in Dave’s name. Hope to see ya here

There’s no time like the present!

The trailer is beginning to fill up with items for the victims of the Stagecoach fire. A huge thank you to the Golden Empire Gleaners for donating over 1,200 lbs. of various food items. This goes nicely with the 60 cases of water donated by Ben Geissel plus the use of his trailer. Any donations can be brought to ACP or Ethel’s on Alfred Harrell Highway. Be the blessing
