With finals week creeping around the corner, we wanted to share different ways to de-stress. Today’s tactic is to go on a mindful walk! You can do this wherever you are, and you’re sure to feel refreshed and ready to ace those tests. Follow the steps on the second photo for a relaxing experience! @aschicostate

Another great spot to visit in Norcal is in Chico State's backyard... Burney Falls! This is a great spot to see the fall colors and enjoy the view from a canoe or the trail. There's little more magnificent than these falls, so throw on some layers and get out there!
Thinking about one of our favorite spots in California. There's something about the steep granite walls against the turning fall colors that adds to Yosemite's charm this time of year. What's your favorite fall activity?
Looking for a new place to explore on the amazing Northern coast? Check out the Lost Coast trail where you can catch views of sea lions, wildflowers, tide pools, and more! Roughly a 24.6 mile trek, you can enjoy this trail as an out and back trip, set a shuttle, or spend a day exploring the area! Happy exploring!
One last reminder to join us TONIGHT at 6pm to explore Icelandic views such as these! We hope to see you there. Link in our bio.

We're proud to announce that we will be teaming up with Chico State's CAVE to do a virtual waterway clean up! Together we can make a difference in our communities by picking up trash by our nearest creeks or rivers. Catch the link to the event in our instagram bio for more details. #MakeADifferenceWeek #chicostatecave

Last week, the AS Board of Directors unanimously voted to include Juneteenth as an annual paid holiday, making us the first Associated Students auxiliary in the... California State University system to officially do so. The resolution, which was introduced by the elected student leaders who are the majority of the AS Board of Directors, acknowledges and supports the need for the history of the Black community to be recognized in official policy and shared to sustain our advancement as a unified people. We recognize that providing Juneteenth as a paid holiday does not eradicate the roots of the systemic oppression plaguing our country, but it is an action long overdue and only the beginning of the work the Associated Students plans to implement to support the Black community. We acknowledge that true freedom for all people has not yet been realized, and we are determined to advocate for the implementation of antiracist actions and equitable change on and off campus. You can find the resolution here: https://as.csuchico.edu/ind/government-affairs/resolutions/ California State University, Chico
