For those suffering from ovarian cancer, it is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. According to the CDC, ovarian cancer is the second most common gynecological cancer. Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery INC wants people to understand what HBOT can do for ovarian cancer patients. If you or a loved one suffers from post radiation cystitis, vaginitis, and proctitis with hematuria, HBOT can significantly heal these issues. We will work with your medical team as part of your recovery process, giving your cells 100% medical grade oxygen which they need. HBOT is a relaxing experience, and many patients experience faster recovery using the 100% medical grade chambers at Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery INC. #ovariancancer #wellness #hyperbaricmedicine #hbot #endwomenscancer #whyteal

We also ask that patients limit what items they bring into the building with them at this time. Masks will be required to enter the facility: 100% cotton masks are to be worn by patients and may be removed only while inside the Hyperbaric Chamber. Airborne infection control upgrades: we have invested in the addition of increased ventilation, air filtration and installation of UVC virus killing air scrubbers that will be added to all patient and staff areas. Telemedicine appointments: Consultations with our Medical Director will be directed to Telemedicine appointments, whenever possible, in order to limit the amount of patients entering our facility.
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend here in Marin County so we thought we would continue our wellness series by talking about the benefits of sunlight We know that too much sunlight is harmful, but small doses of moderate sunlight have actually been proven to be very beneficial for many aspects of our health as it naturally boosts our levels of Vitamin D. This sunshine vitamin (Vitamin D) has been shown in studies to: fight disease, improve mood, build stronger bones, and ...much more. Sunlight can also assist in healing certain skin conditions according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Research studies have even revealed preliminary links between sunlight as a potential treatment for several other conditions too including Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, IBD, and thyroiditis. You can read more by viewing the complete article at https://www.healthline.com/he/depression/benefits-sunlight . Who else is now feeling inspired to get a little sunshine this weekend?? (In moderation of course!) See more

We want to send lots of LVE to all of you as we end Heart Disease Month. Did you know that Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, if initiated early has been found to ameliorate the damaging effects of: Early modulation of inflammation Maintenance of metabolic function in downstream tissues ... Reintroduction of oxidation scavengers HBOT treatments: Reduced risk of death Preserved more myocardial tissue Reduces ICU hospital stay Reduced overall blood loss Promotes the VEGF-induced enhancement of antioxidant and endothelial nitric oxide synthase HBOT starts a cascade of genomic events where Nitric Acid increases and anti inflammatory growth factors are released. Now that is something to love!
