We’re celebrating a very special day today! It’s Dani’s birthday! Girl there are so many ways I could sing your praises! You’ve always been there for me, picking me up from my lowest lows and cheering me on during my highest highs. You always remind me to be kind, stay grounded, but most importantly to laugh, to have fun, and live life with a full and loving heart. During one of the most difficult and challenging years of our lives, yo...u’ve supported me and gave me hope where I thought none existed. You’ve been the best quarantine buddy and even though we may face more difficulties in life, I know you’ll always be there for me with the perfect joke to cheer me right up (and buy me sushi to really make it better ) Happy Birthday Dani! Who says all of your wedding photos have to be stuffy and boring? Of course, you have to have the traditional portraits too, but who says we can't have a little fun along the way?

One of the things we miss most about weddings is all the details that just make the day unique and fun. Today we're daydreaming of the days when we'll be able to throw some confetti around with our family and friends again.

2020 was a heck of year! Thanks to the pandemic, all of our couples had to change their wedding plans. But it wasn’t all bad news! We had so much fun meeting up with this amazing #aanddcouple for their engagement session and it’s finally up on the blog today! Don’t get us wrong, we love a good storm! What we don’t love is the 2nd full day of no electricity! Is it just us or is there anyone else having to rescue family by letting them borrow outlets to charge their phones

We all deserve a trophy for our adulting efforts, right? Today, my adulting tasks include bringing multitasking to a whole new level by playing fetch with the pups, editing 2 galleries, and spending 2 1/2 on hold with the EDD all at the same time . What adulting task are you going to conquer today? Whatever it is, I’m cheering you on!

Can we get sappy for a second? When we're looking back on our life in 40 years, we don’t want to think about what could’ve, should’ve, or would’ve been. We want to reflect on the good ol’ days without regret, knowing we did what made us happy. Being wedding photographers has given us the opportunity to bring so much light and joy not only to ourselves, but to others, and for that, we're so grateful. We're no fortune tellers, but we think our future selves will be pretty pleased, too!
