Dear Parents, As our state has slowly moved to re-opening after months of lock-down due to COVID-19 pandemic, our studio is also planning to resume all lessons in the next few weeks. We will be observing all authorities' guidelines carefully, we will remain close if the pandemic worsens. At this time, we would like to know if you prefer to have your child coming to the music studio for lesson or if you prefer remote learning via Zoom. Please also let us know what would be your preferred schedules. To protect the safety and health of all students, we will disinfect the piano after each student's lesson. Also, parents are asked to follow the following guidelines: 1. Please prepare a clean towel or napkin for your child. Students must wash their hands with soap and wipe them clean before and after class. 2. Please prepare a face mask for your child to wear throughout the lesson time. Parents and siblings are asked to wait outside during lesson time. 3. When you arrive at the studio, please wait outside until the previous student leaves the classroom. All Walnut Valley Unified School District schools will close for five weeks, effective Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 17, 2020. The message from Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor stated that an Emergency Meeting of the Board of Trustees this afternoon, the Board approved a resolution through an emergency measure, which grants me, as the Superintendent, the authority to take all appropriate action to respond to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. With the autho...rization allowing school districts to do so, and following today’s recommendation from the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) that all schools in Los Angeles County close and/or be dismissed for a minimum of two weeks due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), I have decided to dismiss (pupil free) schools effective immediately, followed by all schools being closed through Spring Break (5 weeks). Beginning Monday, March 16, and through the regularly scheduled Spring Break (Sunday, April 19) all schools will be dismissed and/or closed to students.
