Couple of Pointers to Increase Your Chances of Pregnancy Food: Avoid drinking iced drinks, slushies, ice cream and any other frozen beverages/food proceeding your IVF cycle. Caffeine: Cut out coffee from your diet. A joint US/Swedish study of 562 women found that 1-3 cups of coffee increased miscarriage rate by 30% and more than 5 cups increased it by 40%. Stress: Relax. Studies done at University of California San Diego concluded that women with the highest rated lif...e stress levels were 93% less likely to become pregnant and achieve a live birth than women who scored lower on the stress scale. Exercise: Exercise regularly doing something you enjoy! It increases energy and lifts up your mood. However, too much exercise has been shown to reduce IVF success rates. Sleep: Sleep 7-8 hours. More than 40% of adults get less than 7 hrs of sleep. Lack of sleep can cause physiological disruptions including the inhibition of growth hormones. Alcohol: Just don't drink any. We all know the consequences. Follow these pointers to better your outcome in IVF! The Chinese medicine approach will help balance your body and relax your heart and soul.
