Finally, a light at the end of a very dark tunnel here in California! #AB1839 passed it's final hurdle today. It took a little haircut from $400M to $330M per year for 5 years but the entire structure of the film incentive, not just the dollar amount, needed an overhaul which it received quite effectively. Starting next summer, CA will be able to compete for tent-pole feature films and episodic television shows once again, bringing our industry (and our people) back home to CA!
