Flight anxiety is applicable to most everyone to some degree, however The Open Sky for Autism specifically aids kiddos with ASD in becoming acclimated with flight expectations and presents an opportunity for repetition when following airplane protocol during a simulation. On Friday, May 10th UCLA CART Distinguished Lecture Series is presenting a FREE talk by Dr. Jana Iverson, Professor of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Iverson’s research focuses on the nature and development of the relationship between motor activity, postural stability, communication, and language in infants at risk for autism and infants with no such risk.
