The good folks at nohoartsdistrict.com have always worked hard to promote and unify everyone who makes NoHo a special community of artists. Now they’re working to ensure it can stay that way, and we’re grateful.

A long time ago (right now), In a galaxy far, far, away (North Hollywood) comes the best Star Wars short-form team in the universe. Midichlorians can’t calculate how much fun this hour is.

Not Related is a twoprov troupe consisting of Tierney Conley and Alex Wiggins. For four years, Not Related has brought to the stage rich story-driven sets with interesting characters. They also love to mess with each other on stage as they are a couple and, of course, Not Related. Each week Not Related invites two additional twoprov troupes to take the stage with them. These troupes consist of people who have a performance style completely different, or dare I say Not Related to their style OR two people who have never performed in a twoprov group together before! How exciting! You can check them out every 2nd Friday of the month at 10pm!

Two great shows back to back! A troupe of one. A cast of thousands! Improvisor Monika Smith creates robust scenes filled with relationship and character. Solo. Thomas Greene, and Sean Michael Boozer staggering in the footsteps of Abbott and Costello, and Rowan and Martin, Greene and Boozer make up this potent portable of improv/sketch deliciousness with status, power, and sanity changing hands early and often.

The Harry Potter Hour has thrown and performed at huge sold out events at The Last Bookstore, The Perky Nerd, Barnes & Noble at The Grove, Whimsic Alley, and Bad Owl Coffee (Las Vegas). In addition they have performed at many Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Comic Book conventions including Stan Lee’s Comikaze, Leviosa Con, Strategicon, and more. They have also been seen at top comedy venues such as iO West, UCB, The Nerdist, and have even performed live on Geek & Sundry.

Shaun Landry and Hans Summers is the comedy duo Landry & Summers. They are not only skilled improvisers working together creating improvisational and sketch comedy since 1986. Both founding members of Oui Be Negroes.They perform improvised scenes from your suggestions and sketch comedy from their heads. They also teach improvisational and sketch comedy nationally. They've been seen separately onstage at NYC's Del Close Marathon at sea with Second City, on TV on Comedy Central, and on the front page of the LA Times. Their style has been described as E.L. Doctorow meets Cory Doctorow meets the guy who would beat them up for typing that.

Squid Family Robinson is an indie that was created out of the Westside Comedy Theater. They have since come to play all the best shows in town and are ecstatic to call Funderstorm Friday their home. Cornelius is a duo made up of Josh Noori and Jaclynn Cherry, two Detroiters who trekked out to California with the help of their good friend, Yukon Cornelius. They're pretty much each other's everything - roommate, hiking buddy, online dating consultant, sentence finisher, and Amazing Race teammate (one day!). Together these two goons create improv that is 50% grounded, 50% silly, and 100% delightful. Catch them this Friday with Squid Family Robinson
