Mavs Skill Saturdays! - Today's skill: "Scissors" - Step 1: Dribble at speed... Step 2: Step over/around the ball with one foot, faking that you will take it that way Step 3: Take the ball with the outside of the other foot in the other direction - Pro Tip: Keep your foot low to the ground and brush the grass with your cleats. Lean your body into it for a convincing fake. Add a second scissor to fake out an experienced defender. - Every Saturday the club will post a video of a skill move, and challenge players to replicate the move. - Players who post a video of themselves executing the move of the week and tag @maverickssoccerclub will have a chance to feature on the club's social media pages and win a prize. Introducing Mavs Skill Saturdays! - Today's skill: "Maradona" - Step 1: Dribble at speed... Step 2: Pull the ball back using the sole of your foot Step 3: Step over the ball with the same foot as you start turning Step 4: Use the other foot to pull the ball and complete your turn - Pro Tip: Start slow and just tap the ball with your feet as you spin over the top of the ball.
